I like the sheer fabric. A trick my granmother taught me when working with sheer fabric is to do french seams. A friend of mine also mentioned that she does french seams when she makes a shirt that she might want to roll up the sleeves on. I definitely appreciate the information on the fit, though.

Oh, it's a shame this doesn't fit after all the work you put into it. It's really cute but that's not helpful if you can't move in it. (Sorry, I had to smile at your description of attaining a gymnastic angle to remove it. Been there!) And yes, your sleeve insertion is perfection. Thank you for reviewing your hardships with this pattern; it will help many others. -Lily

I second Lily's comment. Plus it gives me comfort to know that I am not the only one that seams end up with things that are wearable. I look at these as practice and then I don't get so upset with the less than perfect results.

I love the color, and am sorry this didn't work for you. I've made other BBW patterns, and I had to increase the sleeve width *a lot*, so this seems to be a common problem with her patterns. It's not horribly difficult to learn to widen at the bicep, but it is a little fiddly at first. (I have to do it for most patterns, so I've gotten used to it...)
