Congratulations on your firsts, Stitcheroo! The color is just fantastic with your hair and complexion. I hope that you find a lifelong love in sewing, like so many of the members here. I saw this book for the first time today while I was wandering around our local (very small) bookstore this afternoon. Sew Everything Workshop was the only sewing book on the shelf! I work with lots of college students, and every once in a while I have one who would like to learn to sew. I was wondering whether this would be a good book for my "sewing mentor" library. Sounds like it might be... what do you think of some of the other projects? Good luck with your next effort, whatever you choose! Karen

Wow! I've sewn for many years, but your "beginner" skirt inspires me to go back to my own machine. Do yourself a favor and learn how to do invisible zippers - they keep all the vertical lines smooth.
