I am really looking forward to seeing your photo! I would like to see the end result before I start on my dd's. You made the comment that a 10 year old does not need the bust gathering. I agree with you on some averaged sized girls who aren't developing early - like I was at age 10! But it has been a surprise to me to see that is not the case with all age 10 girls. I am going to be making this for my plus size dd in the next couple of weeks for Easter in a lavender print, and she is wearing a training bra already! She will need the extra fullness and it was one of the reasons I picked the pattern. :-) I am actually glad to hear that there is the added fullness that you needed to take out - because my dd needs it! LOL Thanks so much for reviewing the pattern. It really helps to get a feel for changes I may need to make - such as the sleeves, and using a contracting fabric for the insert. I hadn't thought of that yet.
