I really like how you did pleats instead of gathersm - it adds a bit more structure to the dress! I think the dress looks very cute on you!

I really like the fabrics you've chosen for your dress; the burgundy really sets off the pink flowered cotton. I too like to topstitch both sides of a neckband; it kind of anchors it in place, sometimes better than handstitching. Very pretty dress, Lily

So kitchy, funky, fun and fabulous. The combination of color and piecing make for a very lovely dress!

Nice job. Your dress is very pretty. I also made this one, but with long sleeves. I didn"t use a contrasting fabric, which I regretted later, however I do love this dress.
