Please don't blame your body for this pattern not fitting. Patterns are just a guideline, we are to use it as a guideline and alter it to fit us, whatever size. I agree a FBA would have gone far to get the look you wanted. Count this as a trial for the pattern. Now you know how it should be altered. Make them and try it again.

it fit because I got creative with a safety pin :P and a really good bra helps. A really good bra can take 10-15 lbs off visually LOL

Well, this (large chest, small ribcage, no waist) certainly sounds familiar to me, but you've gone one step further than I, b/c I simply can't get a wrap top of this sort to fit me, at all! Your top is very cute, and the fabric's darling. Congratulations on your weight loss; very impressive. -Lily
