Julie, thanks for the useful review. My mum and I are just making up this top and skirt for her to wear to my wedding this year. Would you say it runs true to size? and is there any chance of a picture of your dresses? they sound lovely! :)

Kathleen, yes, the pattern runs true to size. I made muslins for the tops as everyone's bust is slightly different and you may have to alter for that. Also I would recommend underlining the skirts with something to make them a little stiffer. The back of the skirt is not shown off to its best advantage if you don't. The fabric weighs down that interesting inverted pleat which almost looks like a mini train. I would suggest cotton organza to do this - polyester if you can't find cotton. Sorry I dont' have a digital camera and would have to scan in the wedding photos which are all in an album now. I may do it later. Julie
