Would love to see a pix if that's possible. | | * * * | | Debspuncturedthumb | 6/20/03 | Lindrix, Thanks for this detailed review. I think we share some figure similarities although I am mid to low busted and adjust accordingly-shoulder pads are nixed many times in my sewing and rtw too! Oh, just a little tip for anyone out there too afraid to order this adorable pattern from online you can get a very similar type pattern which is also rated as 'easy' by Simplicity patterns. The pattern is Simplicity 5623. While it utilizes princess seams vs. a bodice/skirt attachment it is strikingly similar but without the 'cappy' sleeves and adorable imho. The backside has tie strings so you can cinch the waist to the desired contour-just perfect for preferences! Also, you have a choice of a scoop neckline or the angular square neckline. The length can be adjusted to approximate the Loes Hinse design too for proportion as well as the width of the pocket contrast at the openings. BTW, the dress looks great on you. | | * * * | | Karmeng | 11/13/04 | Lovely Dress - it looks really nice on you | | * * * | | sewsue | 11/13/04 | your dress looks great and your adjustments make it a lovely fit. | | * * * | |
