Mariko, this is a very pretty top. I love the fabric. Maybe I'm in the slow group, but I don't notice the upside-down flowers!

Mariko, I love your top -- great fabric. It's hard to beat KwikSew patterns for knits although the Jalie 2005 is great too. The KS instructions are a little easier to follow since they are not on the big pattern piece. I'm sure you'll love your Bernina.

LOVE that print, you will look fab - and I didn't notice the upside down flowers either. So glad you are enjoying knits.

Mariko, your new top looks great, and I think you are over-analyzing the direction of the print. All I see are randomly placed flowers and leaves. I don't think you did anything wrong here. Wear it proudly, and enjoy it.

Very nice. I didn't notice the flower direction until you mentioned it, & there is enough randomness in it so it is fine. (They look as much to the side as down.) $4.50/yrd for interlock is inexpensive. In fact, 4.50 for just about any fabric is inexpensive.

Mariko, great top. Even after you told us the flowers were upside down I had to strain my eyes to see it. I don't think think anyone will notice.
