For instance, I made the cutestest shirt for my daughter yesterday from the "Surplice" bodice with a darted cap sleeve. It looks good, but I knew it was not exactly correct. It was not meant for knit of course so I eliminated the facings and stretched the front sides seams over to meet the back sides seams and sewed them together. It came out cute but the truth is it should not have been made in knit...or at least it was not intended for knit. 5/14/08 8:52 AM
