Nice suit. I am almost finished making a tankini myself. I'm not sure how I am going to hem the top. How did you hem yours? I couldn't quite tell from your photo. Do you have any tips on hemming? my fabric is curling a lot. Thanks!

I hemmed the top with swimsuit elastic stitched to the two layers and then turned to the inside and stitched again. These fabrics do tend to curl a lot- you have to pin every half inch or so it seems! (Make sure you pull the pins out as you sew, if you sew over them it looks all wavy and jumpy)

WOWzer, you are brave, but with great results!I may attempt one, and will def refer back to your review..I think the simple design does flatter you in the top, but envy, envy you don't have the innertube that I can't seem to disguise/lose..Maybe I could put a ?steel band/lycra around that orbital demon..??
