You know I thought about that, but the dress was "so much" pattern, I decided to try to lengthen the skirts. But you are right, it could be done, especially if you wanted the skirt considerably longer.

Pretty skirt! I wonder, since the dress is longer, if you could have cut the dress from the waist down and added the skirt waistband?
