You are on your way to learning how to adjust patterns to fit you. It's a long road but well worth it. I think you did a fine job for making your first top.

try wearing a pretty camisole under it so it covers some of the low vneck then you can wear it outside:)

Another great job. It looks really pretty on you. You're doing so well, you won't be a beginner for very long, IMHO.

You should feel proud of yourself and more confident in your sewing skill with each project. Using this first attempt you can go on and change whatever it is that you are unhappy with. Wearing it with a camisole as suggested by Mary will allow you wear it outside of the house proudly!
