I agree with Lou- your's looks bounds better than theirs! If you were to do it again, what fabric would be ideal do you think? 7/15/03 4:02 PM
Shoiley said... I have been eyeing the "Learn to Sew" patterns on the Kwik Sew website, thinking that I should sew one of those for my next for-myself project. Thanks for reviewing one of them! Your skirt looks lovely, and that wrap-around style never seems to go out of style. 7/15/03 5:01 PM

Mini said... Your skirt looks great-nobody would ever guess you sewed it yourself. I love the Kwik Sew Learn-to-Sew patterns, (and I have been sewing for 40+ years). They produce a wearable result that even experienced sewers can enjoy making. I have had my eye on this one for a while, and will definitely make it soon. It looks like the perfect pattern for teaching a beginner. 7/15/03 11:38 PM

Like Mini, I've been sewing since the dawn of mankind...okay...40 years - but one of the first reviews I posted here on PR was for a knit tee-shirt style top - a KwikSew Learn to Sew pattern. I think KS does a great job on the styling, fit and instructions for this line of patterns. Your skirt proves it. Nice job! 7/16/03 0:21 AM
