I'm making them right now. Have a little top stitching to do and then the top elastic and the hem. So far absolutely have gone together without a hitch. The pockets are clever. Hope mine turn out as nice as yours!

I haven't made these pants yet, but finally got the courage to cut them out because. I, too, wasn't sure that sticking to the standard body measurements was a good idea. I would probably have needed a size 18 too (based on body measurement), but decided to cut a 14 (with a size 20 crotch depth to accommodate my height) after taking time to measure every pattern piece. There are no measurements on the tissue at the hip or waist, so here is a rough summary: Size 20 hip area: Approx. 56.25" Size 14 hip area: Approx. 50" I'm getting ready to sew today and will report on the results.
