Your bag turned out really nice - I like how you alternated the direction of the striped fabric for different parts.

Beth - yes, the body of the bag is vertical stripes, the straps are horizontal and the pocket is horizontal. I really like the look of it now it is done.

Great review. Is that a pocket on the outside (where the knitting needles are)? I was given a bunch of home dec fabric and this gives me an idea....Thank you!
