As you know Tini my jacket is still lying in my Ufo-Box. I found the fabric is not suitable for this pattern. So I keep the cut jacket as the pattern and will sew this from some other pattern. Your review makes me want to try :-) I promise to do so before this year is over!

I like the way the wool drapes at the foldoverfront while maintaining a good shape. I think about using duiponi silk for a formalwear-version. The jacket is completely interfaced, so with the right interfacing you should be able to use every fabric you like. I just don't like the sleeve-length. The sleeves are comfortable, but it is a length, that makes me feel if a) the sleeves are too long or b) the sleeves are too short... It is hard to explain, they just don't feel right...

Thanks for reviewing this. I have this in my collection and have been getting up the courage to tackle it. Can't wait for the picture. Do you think that certain fabrics would be better for the foldover front? What did you not like about the sleeve length? Are they uncomfortable? Or do you just not like the style?
