Very cool skirt! Your review and photo really made me enthusiastic about this pattern, which, honestly, doesn't look like much from the drawings. Yours turned out as an interesting take on the traditional sarong--sort of a post-modern sarong, if you will. Looks like you did a great job on the mitered corners, too. Did the pattern include good instructions for them, or did you use a technique you'd seen elsewhere?

I am one of those who was puzzled and not very impressed by these patterns when they were launched but now I am starting to re-think. Your skirt is very pretty and I can see a lot of possibilities with this - guess it is truly a case of "live and learn" as I may try this yet!!

To respond to you kellymailinglist, there are several techniques explained in the instructions and how to do the mitered corners is one of those techniques. Really good instruction and illustrations.
