This seems like a very versatile pattern. I have never tried New Look before. Is the fit better than Simplicity? Also regarding the neckline, do you think the necklines in other views are also big?

I admit, I love New Look patterns and have sewn a lot of them. The fit is European, pretty similar to Burda, and the styles lines are usually quite flattering to curvy figures. Like Burda, they tend to be a little wide in the back and shoulder in the smaller sizes.

As far as I know, New Look is the same, except for the styles...I would think that the other necklines would be big (this top, even after I altered it, has a very wide neckline). I don't think the depth would be a problem for people of average height.
