Wendlesue, Thank you for your review. I purchased this pattern today and read the instructions. I realized the front band will be wrong side out if folded as illustrated. I plan to sew wrong side to right side to see how this works. Hopefully will make it later this weekend, and I can follow up with results.

Looks nice. I actually made this as well-too bad I didn't see your review first. Mine was lightweight and reversible and I narrow rolled the hems on my serger. I noticed the front being shorter as well. I like it (I think) but it came out a size too large on me and too long as well. You did a good job of working the issues you had out-it turned out nicely.
