Can you explain what all alterations you did? I still haven't completed the jacket. I have to hem it and put buttons and buttonholes so I probably wont be making these alterations in this version. Shell fabric is camel wool and contrast lining is wool plaid. Lined the sleeves with silk rather than the wool to expedite entry & exit. Luckily made muslin before I got too far (could see the XL was HUGE). Recut to medium which is OK, but still like you say big in the bread basket. Pattern recommends double topstitching.
