This is gorgeous. My Miss 9 is a Cheetah Girls fan and I know she will adore this pattern when it is finally released here in NZ :o)

What size does your dd normall wear? I plan to make the bodice in knit, and the skirt in a woven. Also, I have to agree that the neckline looks MUCH, MUCH closer (tighter?) than the purple top on the girl on the pattern envelope. Hmmmm. BTW, I also bought the pattern for the cute jacket, but dd likes the top/dress.

my dd was wearing about a 6x in RTW when I made this dress. I still haven't gotten to the crushed panne and now I have a light pink with white polka dots knit she wants this pattern made out of as well. I will review it again when I see how stretch affects the fit.

Adorably stylish dress! With one knit I was using, the bodice was loose and low on my dd.
