Cute, cute purse! Look forward to seeing another view! It is hard when a purse won't sit but lay on its side. But it is darling!

Thanks for the advice about the missing bottom. I'm planning to make the version with pleats, and add a bottom piece starting from the side points (sort of like a gusset), and maybe skip the u-shaped zipper, but add a zippered pocket in the lining. It's so helpful to have PR reviews point out pattern pitfalls!
