Any chance you could post a photo? I just bought this pattern at Joanne's for $1.99. I have never made a bag before, but I want to make the teardrop shaped one also. It looks difficult, with all the pieces and zipper. Glad to hear it has good instructions.

One thing I neglected to say was that the purse and the lining are made in the same basic shape. You insert the zipper on the main fabric as you normally would- then the lining just fits inside the purse! You sew the lining by hand to the inside of the zipper and tack the top and bottom in a few places to keep them together. It was really simple to do.

Your backback looks great However, I have been working on the same pattern all afternoon and it seems like it will never be finished. Thus far, I can honestly say I will never make this pattern again.
