Don't throw it in the trash yet. Use this to make the alterations for your next attempt at a vest. You can cut this apart - make darts, etc, and baste back together again to see how it fits. If it doesn't fit - make some more adjustments, etc. This will be a good tool for you. When you are done with your adjustment you can take those pieces and make them your pattern for the next one.

I agree with Mary. It is so close. If you haven't yet, review the full bust adjustment thread over on the message board here. And try some Kwik-Sew patterns to get some that have more detailed instructions (which you can then generalize to other patterns).
