Mini said... Mary, I think that Kwik Sew has set-in sleeves that are better drafted than most of the other pattern companies. The others usually put way too much ease in the sleeve caps. When using bias,you might want to stabilize the shoulder seam just like you would with a knit. You can use a narrow strip of fusible interfacing, and apply it right after you cut out the fabric. Otherwise, your shoulders can really stretch out a lot. I think your top looks fine, but if you want a less oversized feel, you could go down a size and make a full bust adjustment as you mentioned. (I like to use my upper chest measurement when choosing a Kwik Sew size, and increase only at the bust.) 8/19/03 7:06 PM
