This is the MOST flattering blouse I have seen in a long time. How clever to use stripes instead of the fabric used in Burda's garment photo to maximize the slimming effect of the stripes and increase the fashion interest. The technical drawing shows the double collar better than your photo, where it is not as noticeable in the stripes. Thanks for your comment regarding blouses under jackets - I wear a lot of jackets at work and I will start looking for patterns that show some of the details (and hard work!) when the jacket is open. Thanks for a great review. I hope you enjoy wearing this blouse as I think it looks perfect on you.

Wow. This is a great blouse. Especially in your fabric choice! I enjoyed your thoughts on back-to-school sewing. We also did not go shopping for back to school, and I spent August sewing things from fabric I most likely found on the clearance table from the basement of our fabric shop in Clarendon VA (wish I could remember the name of it!). Fun memories!

What a fabulous blouse! I think the stripes are an excellent design feature and the three quarter sleeves are perfect.
