I think it would make a great maternity dress. So many actual maternity patterns are actually horrid. I think about 6-8 months ago, PR had a wardrobe contest. I was amazed by an entry by a young woman from Thailand (I think) who used mostly regular patterns for a maternity wardrobe that was absolutely gorgeous. You might be able to find it under the maternity category. I believe she may have won. Just goes to show what can be done by using regular patterns like yours instead of speciality patterns. Again, this pattern shows lots of possibility as a maternity pattern.

Very pretty- I always did love to make my maternity clothes, since cute ones that fit right were so hard to find. This one has wound up being very versatile for you!

Love the brown band on the bottom. Great maternity dress. It's cute with the belt. (It doesn't make you look as huge as you think without the belt either, though!) The band on the bottom adds a lot to the dress, I think.
