It looks nice, maybe it needs to age a few weeks so you forget the sewing frustration and find the enjoyment in the finished project.

Very pretty. It's a lovely. Lots of work but in a week or so you will wear it and be happy to have it.

Although this pretty nightie was clearly a stinker to construct, I think this pattern *did* work for you. You do look very Sense and Sensibility and the lace addition, as well as the gathered ribbon neckline, was inspired and you've created a charming Era piece. Lovely, Lily
