Your jacket looks great! I have this pattern, too, and it's on my short list of things to sew for late fall/winter.

Ooh lala!!! Jaws just dropped. Great job and the fabric/pattern choices just look so expensive. Thanks for the review. Got to get my hands on that fabric somehow.

@ Beek, The fabric wasn't hard to sew at all, but it was a challenge to press, as the heat from the iron removed the sheen from the right side of the fabric--only if the iron made direct contact with it.

Wow. This jacket looks exactly like the one on the pattern envelope. Are you sure you didn't "borrow" it from Simplicity? Seriously, this is superb.

This is so cute! I bought this pattern but I didn't know where I would find the fabric. I see you wrote Jo-Ann's but can you tell me the name of the fabric? I plan on making the one you made and the other jacket to the right. I'm so glad Simplicity teamed up with Project Runway. You did an awesome job!

Sorry, Brandi. I don't know the actual name of the fabric. I just described it to the Jo-Ann folks and they reserved it for me. Good luck on your coats!

It seems that this fabric is a very popular choice for this jacket, and I can see why! Great job, and I LOVE the stand-up collar!
