You know, the dress is really cute and just the right embellishment would make it perfect and deflect the shine. I don't know what it is, but I bet someone on PR has an idea. You looked really pretty for the ball. Did you notice how much the embellishments added to the dress you wore? BTW, sorry you had bronchitis. Hope you are better.

Yeah, I know it needs embelishment I will add something on so that I can wear it.

This is very nice and you worked hard on it. I have found that the difference between a plain garment and one that "pops" for you is in the details. This just needs some detail work. I like to browse the sewing blogs and see what others are doing - that is how I thought to add a little yo-yo and button embellishment to a recent simple child's dress - just that one detail made the "pop" for that project.
