Michelle - I think one of the hardest things is to learn what works for your body and stick with it...especially when so many new patterns come out quarterly. I find the most success when I make the same style of dress over and over! That said, I love how you used the fabric for this dress...it was wonderful!

I think it looks great but I know what you mean by it looks like a maternity dress thats why I changed it the 2nd time by taking most of the gathering out of the back and reduced it also in the front so its sits nicer. So maybe you should give it another go as its a great dress or top!
