It looks great! Another thought for a next step learning the collar with a stand would be to do a top with just the stand portion (the curves are somewhat different from the convertible collar)...

It looks great! Personally, I get very excited about basic styles. :-) With different fabrics, prints, pockets, topstitching and trims, you can get a number of different looks out of a pattern like this.

The shirt is very nice. I think this pattern is lingering in my stash-next summer it needs to come out and meet a cool cotton. Getting a basic pattern fitted to make over and over is a big accomplishment and wardrobe boost. Thanks for showing off your new shirt.

Great to see a review of your pretty new shirt. Very flattering collar and hemline. You'll be surprised at how much faster you sew the second one! JeanM makes a great suggestion. Good work :-)
