I also find the Burda patterns to be huge. It is not that way with the Magazine patterns. Don't ask me why?

I have just sewn the 2 year old size and it is HUGE. Partly it's because of the fold up sleeve style, mainly I suspect is that they want you to get maximum life out of your sewing experience!

I've done the overalls in this pattern, it is also extremely oversized. I matched the height and weight charts for the size I chose- and it still took almost a year for my son to grow into them. Strongly recoomend you actually measure the pattern pieces themselves. Also, the method of attaching the straps in the back was sloppy imo.
