Been there, done that. No wedding dresses, but ended up making 6 satin bridesmaids' dresses with full skirts and ruching on the sleeves -- so don't ever say never. Seriously, your DD's dress turned out very nicely and I am sure she was proud of it and you for making it. I love the color.

That may be what it feels like after two formals, but there is nothing in the world that feels like having made the wedding dress of someone you love.

I may never say "never", but both formal dresses had their own problems. Hopefully, my Darling Daughters will just go downtown and find something. Daughter No. 1 is now 22, and the boyfriend is not on the scene as yet. She seems more interested in school.
