I am sorry that you don't like it, I think that it looks good, esp that fabric. It looks warm and cozy, but thanks for the heads up on the poochy back.

I would hate hate D-Hump-look, too. I wonder if all of these 2682s sew up like this or is it b/c of the fabric? or what? I've read many of the reviews, but don't remember reading about the Dowager "feature". Crisford's photo seems to have some of the same issues.

This top looks very cute on you. Jalie's designs are very clever, but the fit always needs some tweaking.

You don't have a dowager hump, but neither does the pattern. What you do have is square shoulders, and the upper-neck folds that form in consequence are more visible here both because of the fitted neck and the heavier fabric. I bet you have them in many other things, although perhaps you have learned to go for styles where they show less. Good idea not to line the bodice with more fleece though, and this does look very good on you.

Aww... come on Patti. Your top looks great on you and super cozy. I've made a few tops from this pattern and they're my go-to tops for cold weather super casual. In fact, it's my top du jour! Thanks for sharing your experience though. Great tip for the upper bodice lining!
