Joan1954, yes it is summer here! The temp today was 38 degrees celsius -- that's 100 degrees farenheit! I made the socks because I needed a quick, simple project that would give me some instant gratification. I've just finished sewing jeans, which is a major project for me and has left me feeling burned out. I'll put the socks aside until winter - and then I will have toasty warm feet.

Your socks look great! So cozy and warm. I recently purchased a pair of LL Bean fleece socks as a Christmas gift, and was wondering if there was a pattern for them. Now I see that there is, and you included some great tips. Thanks for the review.
