Hard to believe this is the third thing you have sewn! It looks wonderful!

Great job!!! And cute!!

How absolutely cute! I bet if you were to post a picture of the back with the minor fitting issue you describe around the shoulders, someone here will be able to tell you what kind of alteration might work. And I agree--PR is a wonderful resource.

You did a fantastic job of matching the plaids, and getting a great fit. Congratulations on your first review!

Only your third!!! The first thing I noticed was how perfectly your plaid is match. No easy task. The dress fits you beautifully (maybe you just need to sew a wider seam allowance in that one area of your center back). Smart to use other reviews and lining... OK I am impressed. You should be so pleased and there should be nothing you fear to sew.

Very cute - did you modify and add an empire line?? I don't see that in the pattern sketch. I really like that element. Are my eyes deceiving me?

Very cute neckline!

I also wondered about the empire line. I love the look of plaid which can be difficult to match.

Thanks for encouragement! And the suggestion of posting the back. I didn't add an empire line--I think that is just the plaid.

I love your pattern matching. You did amazingly, I can't believe this is only your third thing ever made. I have always had a soft spot for plaid, but it can be fussy to match up.
