Pretty top; I mean, really nice looking! I'm glad you used that cool video. It's one of the best online sewing aids I've ever seen. "armsythe (sp?)" It's armscye. The general explanation is that it's from Scottish dialect referring to an arm's eye, that is, a hole in the garment into which you put the sleeve. I'm not sure I buy it all the way, suspecting that there is a link to the word "scythe," referring to cutting things with scissors, but what the heck.
