I bought 6m, as the fabric was a bit skinny - 110cm, which seems to be coming more common at Spotlight - no doubt this helps their margins, if not ours! I used every skerrick of the fabric, as I self lined the bodice and cut out double the sash, as described in the review. I had to cut some of the lining on cross grain to fit things in. I made smaller sleeves, and had no collar, so really, that much fabric! It is the 8 pieces + 8 gores for the skirt that does it. 1/14/09 6:17 AM
