A real talent to see the potential in a "not so attractive" garment, and actually know how transform it into something so lovely.

Excellent eye for what an out-dated coat can become!

Really impressive re-fashion. You took an ugly shapeless garment and made it absolutely fabulous!

What a terrific job you did of re-fashioning your coat! Your new coat looks cute, warm and trendy. For $10, a few hours, and some creativity, you should be the poster girl for CHIC Frugal Living. Thanks for the inspiration.

great recycling and a wonderful challenge. a new coat for $10 in 10 hours is great, but even better is that you did it! to me, this is the best part of knowing how to sew.

What a great job, and thanks for sharing the process. You are correct and brave--it IS difficult to fit on oneself.
