Cute! I have really been impressed with Jalie patterns. They are really stylish and seem to fit so nicely. Nice review!

This is one of the Jalie "must haves" that I don't have. Looks really good and thanks for info about handbasting the dart until all the other elements (shoulder seams, neckline finish, sleeves) are in place so you can easily adjust the dart if needed.

This top looks like it fits you perfectly. I, too, have been experimenting with this pattern. So far, I have one top that's too short and tight (maybe DD will want it). I played around with the sizing and neck opening and ended up with a top that hangs off my shoulders and has "wingy" things under my arms. I read an excellent review by cabinbaby detailing the armsyce differences between this older Jalie pattern and newer Jalie top patterns. Anyway, I re-cut another pattern using what I'd learned, so I'll see if that one works when I get the courage to try again. It's so sad to invest time into a project that doesn't have a rewarding finish.
