Don't know if you have this in England but a better adhesive is Goop. It is a clear gel type glue that dries clear also. I use it on my button jewelry. It's much easier to get off than super glue- ask me I know too! Great idea - definitely not out of place here.

I, too, wondered what drawing pins were. :-) And when I saw the close up pic, I realized they were thumbtacks, but made to look soo fun! Great job and thanks for sharing this with us! Now I want to make some for my bulletin board!

These button pins are fabulous, Ruthie !!!!! I am thinking colour scheme/buttons as I type :) Thanks for sharing your great idea. Nail polish remover will separate stuck fingers and remove Superglue.
