Great tip about the fly front. it is something that Ihave never tried, but always wanted to. I'll invest in this pattern just for that. Your shorts look great! Nice job for the 1st try! and congratualations to you for accomplishing one of you sewing goals.

I bought this pattern for the exact same reason - getting a few pairs of nice shorts was just a bonus after finding the perfect fly front pants instructions. Nice job, and congrats - you're on your way to those perfect fitting pants.

Your shorts look great and aren't you lucky to meet one of your goals so early in the year. KwikSew's fly zipper instructions are great and work every time.

Natasha, these look great! So nice to know that there is ONE PERFECT PATTERN with all the instructions there - I avoid Kwik Sew as I'm so small in many of their key areas, I end up taking away more than I add - but INSTRUCTIONS are golden. Thanks for the heads up.
