Wow. Who would have thought you could make this into such a great jacket! Actually I made this top when the pattern was fairly new and it is still hanging unwork in my closet. I am going to cut it down the middle and bind the edges. I still have leftover fabric, enough to make a shell to wear underneath. Now I know why I never through the leftovers and the garment out. Thank you.

This looks great: I've made this twice: once lined in the fabric of the oasis skirt (I wear together) and once unlined. Now I'm going to make a jacket, based on your beautiful design and instructions. Thanks!

What a neat idea. I really like the top and would never have thought of a jacket! I love your fabric and agree that a bias edging is best since you see the turned under edge otherwise. I graded it down, but will do so even more when I make it again.
