Very attractive jacket! You proved that maternity clothes can look sooooo stylish and not frumpy! Thanks for a very nice review!

Great jacket! Your take on the bodice length is exactly right. When I was making my maternity career clothes (13 years ago) all of the patterns had about 2 inches of extra length in the front bodice pieces, which is especially important once you leave your middle trimester (your cute and adorabley pregnant phase) and enter your last trimester (the "I'm as big as a house and so ready to have this baby" phase.)

I think the sloping empire waistline is very attractive - even if it was unintentional it is a design feature!

Thank you, ladies! The Book I am talking about is a regular sewing book for techniques from Burda- I gather it is only avaible in German (at least I didnīt find an english version).

So stylish, mama! Congratulations on jacket AND pregnancy. And this Burda sewing book of which you speak ...? I'm intrigued: could you tell us more?
