Thank you for bringing this pattern to my attention. I really like the finished skirt in that fabric. I don't know if you could get a wire hemmer to fit your Viking, but that would quickly solve your hemming challenge in a snap. It is a screw on foot, so you would have to also get a thumb screw. I am definitely going to try this pattern because you make it look so inviting with your wonderful version of this skirt.
