You are a brave one! I wish I could tell you how to fix the bump. There are so many super talented seamstresses on PR.... surely one or more will give you tips. The skirt is really cute! Great job!

What a great skirt, I can see why you'd want to copy it... in fact you're giving me ideas! Without actually holding the garment in my hands I can't tell for sure the problem with the bump. However, I suspect, from the way the fabric is falling at the front, that there is not enough ease at your hip level. This is causing the front flap to pull to the side. At the back, it may be causing the zipper to ride up to get over your dierriere. The solution is to let out the side seams at the hip level, if this is the cause of the problem.

Very cute skirt! (I've shown this to my DD, I think she wants one!) I agree with Mary Nanna that you need a bit more ease at hip level. I also think your fabric stretched when inserting the zipper - did you interface the seamlines where the zipper goes? That helps not only with the stretchiness, but also gives a longer life to the garment, as it reinforces an area that gets a workout every time you put on/take off the skirt. If I were you I'd definitely try this at least one more time, b/c it is SUPER adorable. And kudos for being so brave and just diving in!

Ack. I tried to change the thumbnail picture to show the new version but the site won't replace it. Sorry.
