Nice review. I am making the straight skirt version of this to go with a glitzy top. I have not been able to find any pictures of the back of the skirt online. If anyone has any, please post. This pattern is a two piece, skirt and a variety of tops. The skirt can be full or straight. You made some lovely changes. I admire your sewing skills.

I am making it in slipper satin. I sewed the straps with a fine silk habotai lining and they seem to rest nicely on the shoulders. The bodice I am lining with a poly-cotton batiste like fabric, so far so good. This is my very first wedding dress to sew, so of course I wanted everything perfect for the bride, and am having a bit of trouble because I ordered the wrong length spiral steel boning, they made it sound so easy to trim it, Hah! Not so! So I am waiting for my bros. heavy duty wire cutter's before I can finish it, what a pain.

Wow, thats a gorgeous dress and so well made. I love the lacing at the back and the point at the front is much nicer than straight across. Well done. By the way, my DD's name is Ariana, beautiful name!
