Thanks Lyndle! This costume here didn't take very long at all. I had a short deadline and finished it in about three days. The gold Tudor gown took a little while longer, but again I was on a short deadline. I spent about three weeks working on it and my boyfriend's costume. (They're not 100% finished but I reached the point of them being wearable at about 5 in the morning of the day we needed them.)
