Oh, I like that idea about buttons for the yoke closure so there is a bit of room for adjustment. This skirt is really cute with the tucks at the hemline!

Cute skirt! And the pattern has some good variations. Your use of buttons at the yoke above the zipper is a great adaptation. This would suit my DD so thanks for making me take a second look.

I'm making this skirt right now and the instructions for the tucks at lower edge are a bit misleading in my opinion. I finally figured out that you should fold along the fold lines and stitch along the stitching lines, which creates wider tucks, which is consistent with the pattern drawings.
